Swiss insurer Zurich Financial Services Group has appointed Dan Dunmoyer to the position of head of government and industry affairs for the Americas with immediate effect.
In his new role, Mr Dunmoyer will lead Zurich’s entire state and federal legislative and regulatory affairs activities in the Americas. He will report into Paul Hopkins, regional chairman of the Americas as well as Peter Buomberger, Zurich’s group head of GAIA, and will be located in Los Angeles, California.
Mr Dunmoyer joined Zurich in December 2008 as senior vice president, government and industry affairs and head of state legislative and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining Zurich, he held a variety of leadership roles in California government, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s administration, with chief cabinet secretary and deputy chief of staff being the most recent one.
