{"id":255,"date":"2012-10-08T15:48:21","date_gmt":"2012-10-08T15:48:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sure2insure.co.uk\/?p=255"},"modified":"2012-10-08T15:48:21","modified_gmt":"2012-10-08T15:48:21","slug":"swiss-re-announces-cio-to-depart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sure2insure.co.uk\/?p=255","title":{"rendered":"Swiss Re announces CIO to depart"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Swiss Re\u2019s Chief Investment Officer David Blumer has decided to leave the firm with effect from 1 November of this year, the Board of Directors has stated.<\/p>\n<p>A successor has yet to be announced and will be named in due course.<\/p>\n<p>Blumer joined Swiss Re four years ago as head of Asset Management and a member of Swiss Re\u2019s Executive Committee, and two years ago became chairman of Admin Re\u00ae, the firm\u2019s Business Unit responsible for acquiring closed blocks of life insurance business.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the Board of Directors Walter B.
