Aon Benfield has announced the launch of a life reinsurance hub for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
\nThe new team will provide clients with a range of solutions, from traditional proportional and non-proportional, to non-traditional transactions, and promises to bring \u201ccutting edge\u201d risk management tools to the APAC life reinsurance market.<\/p>\n
The new operation will provide broking solutions for life and composite insurers in the region, including capital and reinsurance needs analyses, as well as portfolio modelling and reinsurance optimisation. <\/p>\n
The group\u2019s chief executive officer for APAC, Malcolm Steingold, comments: \u201cThis new APAC team expands our life reinsurance capabilities into the region, where we anticipate there being many growth opportunities for this line of business and therefore for Aon Benfield as the leading reinsurance intermediary in APAC.\u201d<\/p>\n
